The three reasons
HoneyBook raised Starter 89% in one move.
In February 2025 the Starter plan went from $19 to $36 a month. Today it runs $29 a month on annual billing, $36 month to month, before you add a second user. The product never got more coffee-aware. The bill just got heavier.

Their pricing page says it plainly: a 3% platform fee applies to invoice payments made through the Flashquotes portal, on every plan including paid ones. Book $40,000 in a year and that is $1,200 on top of what your processor already takes. VenVen Pro adds nothing on top of Stripe.

Dubsado, HoneyBook, and Square were built for photographers, planners, and salons. None of them know what a 4-hour bar costs, how much milk a 150-guest event burns, or how to price a signature drink. VenVen does.

What moving over actually looks like.
No tool makes switching free, and we are not going to pretend VenVen does. There is no automatic importer from HoneyBook or Flashquotes. What moves, you move. Here is the honest inventory, and the parallel-run playbook that keeps a booked event from ever depending on a half-finished migration.
Your drink menu and costs
About ten minutes to import a menu and enter real supply costs. Do it once and every quote after that carries a true margin number, which is the part your old tool never did.
Your quote templates
Recreate your two or three most-used templates in the quote editor. Budget about an hour. The VenVen defaults handle the rest.
Your packages and add-ons
Rebuild them once in My Add-ons and pull them into any quote from there. Per-guest and per-hour add-ons scale to the event automatically.
Your contacts
HoneyBook exports Contacts and Projects as CSV, so your history is never trapped. Re-enter the clients you still book with, or keep the old account around read-only for the archive.
The weekend playbook.
- 1
Friday. Export from your old tool.
Pull your contact list and project list as CSV and save PDF copies of your two or three core quote and contract templates. HoneyBook supports CSV export from the Contacts and Projects views. Put everything in one folder you can find Saturday morning.
- 2
Saturday. Rebuild in VenVen.
Sign up free, no card. Import your menu and enter your real costs (about ten minutes), then recreate your most-used quote templates (about an hour). That is the whole rebuild for most carts.
- 3
Run your next event in parallel.
Send the next inquiry through VenVen but keep your old tool active as a fallback. Generate the quote, collect the deposit, get the contract signed, and see if anything cracks.
- 4
After the event, commit.
If the parallel run went clean, cancel the old subscription and move your remaining upcoming events over by hand. If VenVen's numbers were not better, you have lost an afternoon, not a season.

A note from the founder
I run a coffee cart. I built VenVen because I was tired of paying for booking tools that did not understand coffee. Try it on your next event. If it does not fit, the Free plan is yours forever.
Switching, asked straight.
Can I import my HoneyBook or Flashquotes data into VenVen?
Not automatically; what moves, you move. HoneyBook exports your Contacts and Projects as CSV, so your history is never trapped, but in VenVen you re-enter the clients you still book with and rebuild your quote templates by hand. Budget about an hour for your two or three core templates and about ten minutes to import your menu and enter your costs.
What happens when the Pro trial ends?
You drop back to the Free plan unless you upgrade. Nothing is deleted. Your events, quotes, menu, and cost data stay put, so you can pick Pro back up anytime.
Do I need a credit card to try VenVen?
No. Try Pro on your first 5 events or 14 days, whichever is later. No credit card. After the trial, the Free plan is yours for as long as you want it.
Do I have to cancel my old tool before trying VenVen?
No, and we would rather you did not. Keep HoneyBook or Flashquotes live, run one real event through VenVen in parallel, and commit only if the quote, the margin number, and the payout beat what you have. If they do not, you have lost an afternoon, not a season.
Ready to switch?
Try Pro on your first 5 events or 14 days, whichever is later. No credit card. After that, Free stays free with a 3% platform fee on customer payments, and Pro is $29 a month, or $24 a month billed annually, with a 0% platform fee. See the full plan details.
